I went to a trip to visit the wonderful land were I born, my homeland Lima, Perú. My destiny wasn't only for visiting family and friends, but to recover back those years, that furiously fast flew off the distance, isolated from my heritage and my culture. My homeland, my childhood, my culture and its magic that wrapped me in by the tradition of the city, makes me feel the engagement that I own and I owe of to be as same part of this land.
During my trip I went to visiting the Plaza Mayor of Lima. Lima is a sacred land that calls history, involves heritage and culture and at the same time makes you feel part of it. The capital city is surrounded with charming wooden balconies into virreynal street views, baroque cathedrals; that brings a real Spanish colonial scenario.

Concluding with the course of my trip, finished visiting the flea market where you find the best craftsmen in the city. The artistry has a crucial impact in the Peruvian economy and are an important catalyst for achievement in the society. The Peruvian handicrafts is the reflection of their own history and artists have mastered the techniques used by Pre-Columbians. Some of the beautiful handicrafts are textiles, ceramics, pottery, furniture, wooden pieces, leather, jewelry, clothing and more; handmade with the same patterns and colors that was used by the Incas. The Peruvian jewelry stands for its fine carving in gold, silver and cooper to maintain its tradition. Ceramic and Pottery with a variety of styles, manufactures functional pieces and now with new decorative proposals. Textiles are a remarkable succeed int the history of the Inca. This beautiful pieces were distinguished by the brilliant of its colors and the clarity of its patterns and designs.

Artesania en Lima
The Peruvian handicrafts are making more desirable the city to live and work, because it provides inspiration and enjoyment for residents and also for visitors. The expressiveness of the craftmanship addresses history and richness of the peruvian arts from a contemporary approach.
I will go back to Perú to learn more and explore about this potential land where I come from, to identify myself with the mystic of its history, to understand what is being hiding and we still don't know.
Don't wait no more, go and Visit Perú!
