Made in Perú

I went to a trip to visit the wonderful land were I born, my homeland Lima, Perú. My destiny wasn't only for visiting family and friends, but to recover back those years, that furiously fast flew off the distance, isolated from my heritage and my culture. My homeland, my childhood, my culture and its magic that wrapped me in by the tradition of the city, makes me feel the engagement that I own and I owe of to be as same part of this land.
During my trip I went to visiting the Plaza Mayor of Lima. Lima is a sacred land that calls history, involves heritage and culture and at the same time makes you feel part of it. The capital city is surrounded with charming wooden balconies into virreynal street views, baroque cathedrals; that brings a real Spanish colonial scenario.

The spectacular Plaza de Armas in the distinguished downtown of Lima is surrounded by nearby neoclassical buildings that preserves de old arquitecture that was built between the 16th and 18th centuries.

Concluding with the course of my trip, finished visiting the flea market where you find the best craftsmen in the city. The artistry has a crucial impact in the Peruvian economy and are an important catalyst for achievement in the society. The Peruvian handicrafts is the reflection of their own history and artists have mastered the techniques used by Pre-Columbians. Some of the beautiful handicrafts are textiles, ceramics, pottery, furniture, wooden pieces, leather, jewelry, clothing and more; handmade with the same patterns and colors that was used by the Incas. The Peruvian jewelry stands for its fine carving in gold, silver and cooper to maintain its tradition. Ceramic and Pottery with a variety of styles, manufactures functional pieces and now with new decorative proposals. Textiles are a remarkable succeed int the history of the Inca. This beautiful pieces were distinguished by the brilliant of its colors and the clarity of its patterns and designs.

The Peruvian handicrafts are making more desirable the city to live and work, because it provides inspiration and enjoyment for residents and also for visitors. The expressiveness of the craftmanship addresses history and richness of the peruvian arts from a contemporary approach.
I will go back to Perú to learn more and explore about this potential land where I come from, to identify myself with the mystic of its history, to understand what is being hiding and we still don't know.
Don't wait no more, go and Visit Perú

Bohemian and Cultural

Traditional art has been always present into the artisan's work, who wants to keep their heritage and culture to be follow. But what about discovering mix of techniques and creating original pieces of work. Like this new piece, this t shirt was hand tie dyed with brown, yellow, black and other terra colors for this type of fabric. The t shirt was screen printed with ethnic figures, patterns and designs, representing American Indian motifs and other indigenous tribes symbols. Bohemia has incorporated this type of original art, to remember some paths of culture in the gallery.

Every t shirt is handmade individually for best quality. The graphic in the t shirt is representing a Southwestern American Indian symbol.

But is not only about figures and symbols, it is also tribal and raw. It is wild and natural. This handmade necklace is dyed with brown color and made with natural eco friendly bamboo. The terracota pendant look very particular because of it geometry.
